Copywork
If you need copywork, please fill out this copywork form, attach to source, and leave in the VRC office.
Slide scanning
We will scan slides from the collection upon request, after evaluating slide quality, copyright considerations, and whether the image exists for purchase. We will not scan slides that belong to faculty members unless sufficient cataloging data and copyright information is provided. See the Visual Resources Curator before requesting any slides to be scanned.
Purchased digital images
We also encourage requests for image purchases. Please give the VRC information about the artist, architect, or particular works that you would like to have added to the collection. You may also browse a vendor site for suggestions. Vendors we use include http://www.scholarsresource.com and http://www.artonfile.com/.
Digitizing your course
Faculty are encouraged to drop off slide sheets, syllabi, and other material describing artists, architects, buildings, and time periods being taught. We can search our collection to determine which works to acquire based on your needs. Please see the Visual Resources Curator if you would like to digitize an entire course at least one semester in advance of teaching the course digitally.
The Visual Resources Center will not distribute images on any media to faculty or students. All digital images will be uploaded into MDID for access. Please read the Visual Resources Center copyright policy
