Access Services Policy

The University Library exists to support the educational mission of Roger Williams University and the curricular needs of its academic community. Precedence will be given to members of the University community in the use of all library facilities and resources at all times. Visitors are asked to abide by library policies found on the University Library website and Information Technology policies governing the use of computers and technology available on the Information Technology website.

Borrowing privileges are extended to the following groups:

The Roger Williams University Community:
The University Community, including students, faculty, staff, and alumnae/i.

HELIN Consortium:
HELIN Consortium members including faculty, students and staff from CCRI, Johnson and Wales University, Providence College, Rhode Island College, Salve Regina University, Wheaton College, and fifteen R.I. health sciences libraries. HELIN members must present a valid college or university ID at the Information Desk.

Bristol Residents:
Borrowing privileges are extended to Bristol residents who are 18 years of age or older and for those who wish to become a Friend of the Library for an annual fee of $35.00. A registration form is available at the Information Desk.
