Architecture Library Circulation & Reserves

The Circulation Desk in the Architecture Library provides access to Faculty Reserves and serves as an Information/Reference desk.

Faculty Reserves:

Reserves for faculty teaching in the School of Architecture are primarily held at the Architecture Library.  Because of the limited space, however, many of the reserve readings for Historic Preservation and Art courses will be held on reserve at the Main Library.  Please check with your faculty member as to which Library holds their reserves.

Loan Periods:

Books circulate for a period of four weeks.   Periodicals do not circulate except for color copying or scanning.  Slides circulate for the duration of the presentation or lecture.

Request Books/Interlibrary Loan:

Books may be ordered directly from another HELIN Library by selecting Request an Item from the menu at the top of the HELIN record.   These books normally are delivered within two to three days to the Main Library Circulation desk.  You will be notified by e-mail or campus mail when your book has arrived.

Interlibrary loan (ILL) is available for those items that are not owned by another HELIN Library.  ILL forms are available from a reference librarian at either the Architecture Library or Main Library.
