Library Liaison Program
Library liaisons are now available for personal assistance in support of teaching and research.
The library liaison program provides academic administrators, teaching faculty, and their students with a personal contact to whom library-related issues and questions might be address. The goal is to help faculty take full advantage of services and resources available, and at the same time to help the Library better anticipate and meet your needs.
Liaison Librarians:
- Promote the faculty's awareness and use of Library resources and services.
- Meet with new and continuing teaching faculty to inform them of resources and services in their specific discipline.
- Assist teaching faculty with library-related research needs in the assigned discipline.
- Serve as a referral agent to other librarians and services, as warranted.
- Respond to e-mail questions from teaching faculty in areas of assignment.
- Introduce faculty members to the library instruction program.
We look forward to meeting with you!
